Rare Antique Child’s Military Sabre with Original Scabbard

A very attractive and unusual child-sized military sabre, made in the style of the full-size military sabres of its period, late 19th / Early 20th Century.

The sabre features a curved steel blade, metal guard and a wooden grip with leather and wire wrapping. It retains its original scabbard, making this a complete and highly displayable example.

The piece shows authentic age-related wear, including surface rust and oxidation to the metal components, while remaining structurally complete. The original leather elements and scabbard are still present.

Miniature military swords and sabres were produced in several European countries during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, often as miniature versions of contemporary military weapons.
