Original WWII USAAF Armored Flak Goggles, designed to provide additional protection against flying fragments and debris.

These scarce metal goggles feature the original olive drab finish, ventilation slots, original tan fabric padding and original elastic head strap. Examples of this type are associated with USAAF bomber crews and were also used in conjunction with M3 flak helmets.

This example remains complete and retains its original components. The goggles show authentic age, storage and service wear.
