Original German WWII RAD Dienststellenabzeichen Sleeve Shield – 261/6 – Württemb

Original German Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) Dienststellenabzeichen, or service unit assignment sleeve shield.

This original RAD sleeve shield is marked with the red numbers 261 and 6. The number 261 identifies the RAD Gruppe, while the smaller number 6 identifies the Abteilung. Gruppe 261 belonged to Arbeitsgau XXVI Württemberg, with Abteilung 6/261 associated with Reutlingen.

The shield features the characteristic white spade design on a black cloth background with red unit numbers.

The badge shows genuine age and wear.

A nice original and specifically numbered example of RAD insignia, ideal for collectors of German WWII uniforms and Reichsarbeitsdienst items.
