Original German WWII NSKK Driver’s Sleeve Diamond – 1st Pattern Metal Device
Original German NSKK driver’s sleeve diamond metal device, 1st pattern.
This is the early metal insignia used as part of the NSKK Kraftfahrraute, the driver's qualification badge worn on the lower left sleeve by qualified NSKK personnel.
The device features the characteristic eight-spoked wheel with the German eagle and swastika motif. The original attachment pins are still present on the reverse.
This example is offered as the metal device only; the original black cloth diamond backing is not present.
The piece shows considerable age-related wear, with loss of much of the original finish, but remains complete and retains its original construction.
A nice original piece of NSKK uniform insignia, especially suitable for collectors looking for the early metal version.
