Original German WWII Kriegsmarine Torpedo Mechanic Petty Officer sleeve insignia

Torpedomechanikermaat Laufbahnabzeichen

This specialist career badge was worn by Torpedo Mechanic Petty Officers of the German Kriegsmarine and identified their technical specialization within the naval service. The badge was worn on the upper left sleeve of the blue naval uniform.

The insignia features a torpedo combined with a mechanical wheel and anchor, mounted on the original dark blue cloth backing. The metal insignia retains much of its original gilt finish.

The badge is complete with its original attachment pins and remains in very good original condition, with only light age-related wear and patina.

A very nice original example of Kriegsmarine specialist insignia, ideal for collectors of German WWII naval uniforms and insignia.
