Original German WWII Kriegsmarine Fernschreibmaat Sleeve Insignia

Original German WWII Kriegsmarine sleeve insignia for a Fernschreibmaat (Teleprinter Petty Officer).

This specialist career insignia features a fouled anchor with two crossed lightning bolts, symbolising the teleprinter and communications branch of the Kriegsmarine.

The insignia is mounted on the original dark navy-blue wool oval backing and retains its original metal attachment fittings. It shows attractive age-related wear and patina.

A nice original example of Kriegsmarine specialist insignia, suitable for collectors of German WWII naval uniforms and communications-related equipment.
