The box is marked “Patr. s.S.” and P 490, with detailed production and ammunition information printed on the original label. The P 490 code is associated with Hugo A. Schneider AG (HASAG), Altenburg.

The box remains in good original condition, showing authentic age, storage wear and some deterioration to the cardboard, while retaining its highly attractive and largely legible original label.
