Original German Salem No. 6 Cigarette Pack – Yenidze Dresden – 6 Cigarettes

Original German Salem No. 6 cigarette package from the Yenidze cigarette factory in Dresden.

This original cardboard cigarette package is marked “YENIDZE/DRESDEN” and “6 ZIGARETTEN”, and features the distinctive red and green Salem design.

Salem No. 6 was a long-established cigarette brand produced by the Yenidze cigarette factory in Dresden. The cigarettes were filterless and the brand continued after Yenidze was taken over by Reemtsma in 1925.

The package dates from the pre-war / WWII period and retains its original tax stamp and printed details. It shows normal age-related wear and patina.

A nice and relatively uncommon piece of German cigarette packaging. Edeal for a Wehrmacht display.
