Original Dutch Allied WWII Propaganda Leaflet – “Hollandia Bevrijd” – 1944

Original Dutch-language Allied WWII propaganda leaflet, dated 22 April 1944, concerning the liberation of Hollandia in Dutch New Guinea by American and Australian forces.

Issued by the American Bureau of War Information and distributed by the Allied Air Force. The leaflet celebrates the return of the Dutch flag and Dutch authorities to liberated territory.

An interesting and uncommon piece of Dutch wartime propaganda relating to the Pacific theatre and the liberation of Dutch New Guinea.
