Original Canadian WWII Military Devotional Book – “Fight the Good Fight” – Named

Original Canadian WWII military devotional book titled “Fight the Good Fight – A Book of Devotion and Instruction for Use in War Time”.

Published by the Church of England in Canada for members of the armed forces, this pocket-sized devotional contains prayers, Bible readings, hymns and religious instruction intended for wartime use.

This example is named to W. H. Clements and includes the original “Card of Commendation” from the Church of England in Canada, with the confirmation entry completed by hand.

The book was first published in 1941 and went through several wartime editions.

The original cloth-covered binding shows age-related wear, while the pages retain their original wartime appearance.

A very nice personal and historical piece of Canadian WWII militaria, especially appealing to collectors of named Canadian items, military religious material and wartime ephemera.
