Original British WW1 Pattern 1908 Water Bottle & Carrier

Original British WW1 Pattern 1908 water bottle complete with its original webbing carrier and khaki felt cover.

The bottle is the typical blue enamelled type, fitted with its original felt covering, cork stopper and cord. The original 1908-pattern webbing carrier is also present, complete with its straps and brass fittings.

The set shows honest wartime use and age-related wear, with fading, staining and some damage to the felt and webbing. The original markings are now too faint to read. These were alos used by the Belgian Army (1918-1940).

A nice original example of British WW1 field equipment, suitable for a 1908 webbing or British Great War collection.
