British black beret, armoured corps 1944

British Armoured Corps black beret. The beret is nicely maker marked and dated 1944. The maker's name 'Surpak Manufacturing Co Ltd' is present as is the War Department broad arrow. As well as this there is a War Department Acceptance stamp which is surmounted by the letter 'M' which confirms 1944 as the year of issue. The beret is a size 6 1/4 . It comes with an original Royal Tank Regiment Cap-Badge as found. A nice beret in perfect condition.
