British Army Seaforth Highlanders Kilt – Seaforth Mackenzie Tartan

Original British Army Seaforth Highlanders military kilt in the distinctive Seaforth Mackenzie tartan.

The kilt features the traditional military construction with a cream cotton waistband, green edging, original fastening straps and metal buckles. The inside bears the original markings and personal service number 23871196, belonging to the original wearer.

The service number dates from the post-war National Service period.. However, the kilt follows the same traditional military pattern and style associated with the WWII-era Highland regiments.

This makes it perfectly suitable for a WWII Scottish military display, mannequin or uniform collection, where its appearance is highly representative of the wartime Highland kilt style.

The kilt remains in very good original condition, with attractive signs of age and use. The tartan retains excellent colour and the pleating is well preserved.
